Job Descriptions

(1) SYSTEM SOFTWARE ENGINEER, VBIOS

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works for porting and development of VBIOS for Graphics chips (GPU).
- Debugging and customer support for VBIOS related issues

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BSEE/CS or equivalent
- 3-4 years experience in developing device drivers or other low-level firmware/software used to control

graphics or other peripheral/hardware.
- Must have experience in 80¡Á86 assembly or C language with source codes level coding/implementation.
- Must have knowledge of the PC architecture, Industrial standards like PCI/PCI-E, and Operating systems.
- Experience with I2C, VESA, and power management are invaluable.
- Must be able to work closely with both hardware designers as well as other software engineers to design,
develop, and debug functional aspects of a graphics-based subsystem.

(2) QUALITY & SYSTEM BUILD MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform system (server type) building management in CEM, including off-line board IQC, mechanical ass?y, test, QA, continuous yield improvement, etc;
- Follow all SBI, FCI, STP, MODS, CUDA process, make sure CEM works out its QP, SOP, PMP according to NVIDIA document;
- Perform First Article Inspection review on system level and component level like chassis, PSU, paper ware, package to assure compliance to specifications;
- Review, support & sign-off on Engineering changes to eliminate ambiguity or conflicts with part fabrication and system building;
- Assist with break-down analysis & tracking as needed;
- Document and communicate all customers and NVIDIA¡¯s critical requirements to the CM and supplier. Assure integration into their production planning and quality system;
- Perform Supplier /CM Quality /Rohs Audits, document audit findings and identify solutions;
- Carry technical supporting and help troubleshooting on CM¡¯s site;
- Initiate Corrective Actions, work on root cause analysis, and assure closure. (Action and Documentation);
- Advise Engineering on alternative materials or solutions to form, fit & function problems;
- Collect data from CMs and come out customer requested report together with CMs regularly.
- Continuously improve system building yield through working with CEM, supplier, NV colleagues;
- Setup robust application test process to determine any process test escape for customer application.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years experience working as Quality or Manufacturing Engineering in server (or system) building factory (like Solectron, Celestica, Flextronics, Foxconn, Jabil, Huawei, etc.)
- General understanding of how system building with line set up, document and equipment preparation, personnel training, Failure Analysis and Corrective Action;
- Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) including new design and process documents approving, manufacturability, testing, stamping, plastic injection tooling, extrusion and SMT/ Wave soldering process qualification;
- Knowledge of quality (SPC, Six Sigma, MTBF, 8D, FAI, Gage R&R, FMEA, Failure Analysis, and DOE);
- Can use CAD/CAM or 3D Modeling software to analyze engineering models;
- Some Raw Materials, Plating, Coating, PCBA, Testing and product safety Knowledge;
- Frequent travel in China, such as ShenZhen, Huizhou, Dongguan;
- ISO and Rohs knowledge;
- Teamwork player, good communication and co-operation skill, willing to work hard;
- With experience in PCBA production is preferable.
- Bachelor degree, with major in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.

(3) SOURCE INSPECTION QA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working in CM to do outgoing audit of finished good for OEM customer and in-process audit.
- Outgoing audit - it will include product audit with functional test, label verification, mechanical installation and workmanship.
- In-process audit - it will perform line patrol for production line setup verification, material conformance and production data verification.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school educated. (min. requirement)
- Basic English
- 2 years experience in assembly testing and quality job, prefer to have QA experience.
- Experience in mechanical part inspection, especially for plastic cosmetic & LCM, experienced in cell phone & calculator assembly is preferable.
- Experience in printing material inspection, especially for manual, pretty box.
- Good color matching.
- Trained with IPC-610 standard.

(4) SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER

Job Qualifications:
- Follow all SBI, FCI, STP, makes sure CEM works out its SOP, PMP according to NVIDIA document.
- Auditing CMs process and quality systems for compliance with NVIDIA requirements for manufacture of System product and high end card.
- Having expertise in a range of manufacturing assembly technologies and processes, familiarity with in-circuit and functional testing.
- Setup and daily monitoring of PCA and system assembly and test processes for multiple product lines at multiple CM locations. Monitoring performance through gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
- Providing technical expertise and support to CM ME and TE teams from NPI through mass production.
- Investigating operational problems affecting production. Troubleshooting and identifying root cause of factory line failures. Interfacing with HW/SW/TEST teams to quickly and effectively contain any type of production issues. Maintaining failures and scrap inventory.
- Perform on site failure analysis.
- Responsible for ensuring execution of corrective actions and ongoing quality improvements at CM.

Requirements:
- Former manufacturing process eng. and mainly SMT manufacturing & quality experience, know about mechanical assembly & LCM, such as cell phone or MP3 or calculator background. 3+ years of the following experience.
- SMT, Wave, IR, DIP, product setup on high end continuous PCBA assembly lines.
- PCB types and finishes, IC packages, uBGA and CSP mounting and rework methods.
- Some LCD, plastic injection tooling, reliability test and product safety knowledge.
- Consumer electrical product assemble process and line equipment.
- Working knowledge of function test and troubleshooting equipment.

(5) QT SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Co-work with Contract Manufacturer (CM) on daily operations of QT (quickturn / prototype) PCBA manufacturing line, covering aspects including (but not limited to) SMT, Wave, Test (e.g. Flying Probe), Materials Quality.
- Provide real-time support to QT production to meet delivery requirements, and resolve technical issues hindering on-time delivery in a real-time manner.
- Be flexible working in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
- Involve in DFM on new product designs with CM.
- Communicate internally with build requestor on special requests and expectations.
- Monitor, prevent and resolve quality issues of manufacturing process with CM.
- Responsible for ensuring execution of corrective actions and ongoing quality improvements at CM.
- Audit CM¡¯s process and quality systems for compliance with NVIDIA requirements for manufacturing of high end graphic cards and motherboard.
- Monitor performance through gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
- Involve in sub-tier suppliers management for QT projects.

(6) QUICK-TURN PROGRAM MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages graphics cards and motherboards assembly requests on prototype / quickturn (QT) manufacturing environment at NVIDIA¡¯s Contract Manufacturer (CM).
- Involves in manufacturing scheduling.
- Monitors and follows-up deliveries of materials / finished goods.
- Understands, clarifies and implements special requirements from build requestors.
- Be flexible supporting a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
- Co-works with local CM and other internal departments (both locally and in HQ) to ensure on-time delivery.
- Mobilizes appropriate resources to resolve operational issues hindering on-time delivery.
- Reviews and reports the overall business performance of QT operations regularly.

MINIMUM REQUIRMENETS:
- BS degree holder in Industrial Management or related field.
- Fluent in Putonghua and English, both written and oral.
- 5+ years PM work experience in related industry.
- Must have significant experience in managing PCB assembly programs.
- Sounding knowledge in all stages of getting product to production.
- Experience in new product introduction (NPI) from design phase to production phase is a plus.

(7) APPLICATION ENGINEER (Intern)

Participate as a member of application enginnering and be responsible for working with team members to provide circuit/layout design checking, problems investigation and qualification supports to our design partners, who use NVIDIA silicon chip to make graphics products. Collaborate with our partners to develop the projects schedule, design and verify their solutions to meet all functionality, reliability, stability, and performance requirements. He/She will be able to understand and learn the design knowledge, qualification methodology, trouble shoot skills and be able to develop the capability in projects management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Master¡¯s degree with electronics or relative major graduate in 2009
- Have demonstrated aptitude for electronic fundamentals and hardware designs.
- Have experience in using the hardware design softwares, oscilloscopes, and the relative design tools
- Are creative and can logically analyse and simplify a complicated problem set
- Knowledge in the computer architecture
- Have excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Have a good command of both spoken and written English
