Global Equity Services (GES) ¨C Intern - China

Assignment

Working closely with manager, and under manager¡¯s supervision
• Handle and coordinate day to day follow ups with prospects and intermediaries for new business origination
• Compile prospect-specific pitch books working with CCS&A team and under Manager¡¯s guidance
• Work in tandem with CBC/ PBC relationship managers, GTB and others to leverage existing network of relationships enjoyed by other colleagues across the organisation
• Meet and maintain contact with client on a regular basis - Be a point of local contact for existing clients in PRC for delivery (RM) of services ¨C even whilst the delivery will be managed by Veronica
• Support manager, as required on day to day business administration

Essential skills

Ideally with a BBA/Accounting background
• Some knowledge of capital market related products would be a distinct advantage
• Outgoing and confident personality with good English speaking skills
• Some accounting and funds flow analysis knowledge
• Proficiency in Power Point, Word and Excel is a must.
• International exposure, even if gained through personal travel, is desirable
• Strong team player and ability to network internally, comfortable working in global teams
• Self motivated

SELECTION CRITERIA:
1. Possess expert verbal and written communications skills in both English and Chinese;
2. Self-starter with highly effective organizational skills;
3. Detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
