Job Title: Institutional Corporate Marketing Intern

DIVISION DESCRIPTION
Institutional Corporate Marketing (ICM) is a global group that performs an intermediary role between companies, their shareholders and target investors.
The key objective of the group is to facilitate institutional client access to senior management of the regions most important companies through external relationship building and by using the Morgan Stanley internal network (e.g. Equity Research and the Investment Banking Division (IBD) relationships)
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role in Shanghai is specifically focused on providing investor clients with access to local company management in China and Hong Kong (investor fieldtrips)
- Build out corporate contacts in China/HK and develop relationships at the investor relations level
- Create and deliver China/HK based company visit schedules for investors
- Advise on fieldtrip content (company meetings)
- Schedule meetings
- Escort clients on the fieldtrip
- Oversee the logistics and running of events
- Collate investor feedback post fieldtrip
- Collate corporate profile packs ahead of client fieldtrips
- Prepare written corporate profiles using information sourced from various financial information databases and the internet
- Download latest company financials datasheet
- Source and reformat latest company presentation
- Download latest Morgan Stanley research report
- Include latest fieldtrip itinerary
- Maintain company information library with record of latest corporatepresentation,
- Annual report and corporate profile
- Update and maintain the ICM online calendar
REQUIREMENTS
- Finance, economics, management background only
- First or Second year graduate students since September, 2008, from Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics,and East China Normal University.
- Outgoing and a confident communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills
- A keen sense of self initiative and project ownership
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Understanding of the marketing process / investor relations
- Fluent in English and Mandarin - excellent spoken and written English
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Strong oral and visual presentation skills
- Strong technology skills: Excel, PowerPoint and Word (MS Project would be anadvantage)
